Aug. 1, 2021. LA Convention Center. Downtown Los Angeles, California Last month I went to my very first Art Show. Also, my very first big Art thangg out here in California but that’s another story! This was the 2021 LA Art Show, one of the largest international art fairs in the US! It is the first and only event to successfully incorporate galleries representing diverse art genres giving artists, like myself, a bigger platform to showcase their talent. Did I mention, LA is my new home?! This event opened up my eyes and made me realize a number of things. For starters, I have been blessed with my artistry and a heart of gold, however, these statements are as descriptive as realism , yet, more figurative like Picasso. My prices were no where near a Dali’s melting clock but did in fact melt my time! What I’m trying to say is I CHANGED MY PRICES! My work reflects my time, efforts, dedication, life experiences, education, years, months, weeks, days, minutes and every New York second of my migrating life! These days I am getting my hands on everythaaaang! I’m trying out different styles and mediums. Starting new projects and ventures! And did I mention I’m always open to suggestions 😝 Uh yeah!!
